An accounting and finance professional with over 25 years experience, Jim manages all financial, treasury and related matters of the company.  He manages the day-to-day activities of the accounting department, oversees cash management and banking activities, prepares and reviews financial statements, budgets and proformas and provides financial analysis and commentary.  He is also responsible for the IT function, primarily the financial systems of the company.

Prior to the formation of New Concord, Jim served as the Chief Financial Officer for the Northeast region of WCI Communities for 8 years.  WCI is a publicly traded homebuilder with revenues in excess of $2 Billion annually.  During his 8 years with WCI, Jim managed the accounting and finance function for approximately $1 Billion worth of projects.  Jim expanded and revamped the entire finance and accounting function to manage the tremendous growth the company experienced during his 8 years there.  He also upgraded and expanded its financial systems. 

Prior to joining WCI, Jim was the Chief Financial Officer of Center Development Corp., which develops multi-family housing in New York City.  He was employed there for nine years, starting as Director of Accounting.  He previously worked at the accounting firm of Pannell Kerr Forster, where he concentrated primarily on national real estate transactions.

A Certified Public Accountant, Jim earned a Master's degree in Finance from Columbia University in 1994 and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from SUNY Albany in 1983. 

Jim lives in Westport, CT, with his wife Linda and three daughters Colleen, Caitlin and Kelley.
