Kevin McManus, PE Partner - New Concord Development
Kevin McManus manages the community Planning and Development process. He is directly responsible for the oversight and coordination of; property evaluation, due diligence, market analysis, community design, product development, engineering, construction phasing and environmental matters throughout every phase of the planning and site development process. Kevin's approach to this process is very "hands on" and comprehensive. He spearheads the approval process and secures entitlements.
Prior to forming New Concord, Kevin served as WCI's Vice President of Planning and Development for more then ten years. He was responsible for managing all of WCI's projects in the development and pre-construction stages as well as the site development component during construction. His expertise in the planning and development areas, as well as the construction process positioned WCI to secure entitlements for exceptionally innovative projects throughout the Northeast.
Prior to joining WCI, he served as Project Manager of the Site and Civil Engineering Department of a leading engineering firm, Chas H. Sells, where he was responsible for managing private development projects and was instrumental in the design and entitlements for the all of the project's components.
Kevin earned his Bachelor of Sciences degree in Engineering at Manhattan College. As a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New York, he is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the New York State Professional Engineer's Society.
He lives in Newtown, Connecticut with his wife Renee and two sons, Conor and Jack. |
